Not every PSL marketplace offers the same experience. Explore the best alternatives to STR Marketplace.

STR Marketplace is a legitimate, team-approved way to buy or sell a PSL, but it isn't the only one, and it isn't the best fit for everyone. Its fees rose to 12% ($250 minimum) on the seller side in 2026, disclosed during the transaction rather than published on the listing, each of its roughly 18 NFL partners runs on a separate site with its own login, and offers expire in just 48 hours. If any of that has you looking around, here are the alternatives worth knowing about.

Last verified: July 21, 2026, from strmarketplace.com and cowboys.strmarketplace.com. Terms vary by team site and can change, so always confirm directly before transacting.

1. PSL Scout: best overall alternative

PSL Scout covers 19 NFL teams under a single account, so you're not creating a new login for every team you're interested in. Fees are published upfront (10% with a $100 minimum for buyers and sellers), listing is free with no cap, and offers and counteroffers stay open for 3 days and can be edited without starting over. Negotiation happens over real-time chat with message reactions and threaded replies, backed by a 24/7 AI concierge in addition to a human support team. It's also the only platform in this comparison with an interactive map down to the individual seat, rather than just the section.

Best for: anyone who wants one account, transparent fees, a better platform, and a faster, self-serve negotiation.

2. PSL Source: best if you want a broker to manage the deal

PSL Source is an independent broker with over a decade in the space, covering the same 19 NFL teams under one account. It charges no direct buyer commission (though the buyer still covers the team's transfer fee and a 3.5% surcharge for card or PayPal), and a 10% seller commission ($250 minimum). Once an offer is accepted, a PSL Source representative steps in to verify both parties and manage the transfer paperwork by phone or email, rather than the deal completing self-serve. It also offers member tools like deal scores and price trend tracking that STR Marketplace doesn't currently provide.

Best for: buyers or sellers who'd rather have a dedicated broker handle the deal after acceptance.

3. StubHub and SeatGeek

StubHub and SeatGeek are built for game-day tickets, not PSLs. StubHub's seller policies only allow listing actual event tickets and directly related items like box, club, or parking passes; there's no PSL or seat-license category. SeatGeek partners with several NFL teams as an official ticketing platform (handling regular season ticket accounts for teams like the Titans and Ravens, for example), but it doesn't manage PSL sales or transfers either; those still have to go through the team's own official process or an approved PSL marketplace. In short, if you're looking to buy or sell the PSL itself rather than a specific game's tickets, neither platform is built for that.

Best for: buying or selling tickets to individual games, not the underlying PSL.

4. Facebook Marketplace, fan groups, and classifieds

Some PSL owners try to sell directly through Facebook Marketplace, team fan groups, or classifieds sites. It's free and puts you in front of other fans, but it comes with real risk: there's no payment protection built in, so money and PSL rights change hands entirely on trust between two strangers. It also doesn't replace the actual transfer step. Whatever a buyer and seller agree to informally, the PSL still has to be transferred through the team's own process, and a private deal doesn't guarantee that will go through. High-dollar, low-verification transactions like this are a common target for scams on any peer-to-peer platform.

Best for: only if you already know and trust the other party, or you're prepared to verify everything yourself before any money changes hands.
