Best alternatives to PSL Source for buying or selling an NFL PSL

Choosing the right PSL marketplace starts with understanding your options.

PSL Source is an established, independent PSL broker, but its model isn't for everyone. There's no direct buyer commission on paper, but sellers still pay a 10% commission ($250 minimum) that some price into their asking price, and once an offer is accepted, a PSL Source representative has to verify both parties and manage the paperwork by phone or email before anything moves forward. There's no real-time in-platform negotiation. If any of that has you looking around, here are the alternatives worth knowing about.

1. PSL Scout: best overall alternative

PSL Scout covers the same 19 NFL teams under one account, with fees published clearly upfront (10% with a $100 minimum for buyers and sellers), free and unlimited listing, and offers and counteroffers that stay open for 3 days and can be edited without starting over. Negotiation happens self-serve, over real-time chat with message reactions and threaded replies, so you're not waiting on a representative to reach out after an offer is accepted. It's also the only platform in this comparison with an interactive map down to the individual seat, and support runs through a 24/7 AI concierge plus a human team.

Best for: anyone who wants to negotiate and close a deal directly, without a broker in the middle, and get support at any hour.

2. STR Marketplace: best if your team runs an official marketplace

STR Marketplace partners directly with teams and venues, and every listing and transaction is reviewed and approved by the team itself, which some sellers and buyers value as an extra layer of legitimacy. It covers roughly 18 NFL teams, each on its own team-branded site with a separate login, and its fees (12% with a $250 minimum on the seller side, after a 2026 increase) are disclosed during the transaction rather than published upfront.

Best for: fans whose team has an official marketplace through STR and who want the team's direct sign-off on the deal.

3. StubHub and SeatGeek

StubHub and SeatGeek are built for game-day tickets, not PSLs. StubHub's seller policies only allow listing actual event tickets and directly related items like box, club, or parking passes; there's no PSL or seat-license category. SeatGeek partners with several NFL teams as an official ticketing platform (handling regular season ticket accounts for teams like the Titans and Ravens, for example), but it doesn't manage PSL sales or transfers either; those still have to go through the team's own official process or an approved PSL marketplace. In short, if you're looking to buy or sell the PSL itself rather than a specific game's tickets, neither platform is built for that.

Best for: buying or selling tickets to individual games, not the underlying PSL.

4. Facebook Marketplace, fan groups, and classifieds

Some PSL owners try to sell directly through Facebook Marketplace, team fan groups, or classifieds sites. It's free and puts you in front of other fans, but there's no payment protection built in, so money and PSL rights change hands entirely on trust between two strangers. It also doesn't replace the actual transfer step: whatever a buyer and seller agree to informally, the PSL still has to be transferred through the team's own process. High-dollar, low-verification transactions like this are a common target for scams on any peer-to-peer platform.

Best for: only if you already know and trust the other party, or you're prepared to verify everything yourself before any money changes hands.
